COVID-19 Information We Recommend Reservations

COVID-19 Update: The Leadville Train is running trips on October 25, October 31 and November 1st. Those will be our last trips for the season. On October 24th Colorado State Health officials and several local health officials have requested more social distancing. We are encouraging people to wear masks on the indoor cars. We encourage patrons to police themselves and either wear a mask or maintain 6 feet of distance from other passengers. We will continue to keep our reduced capacity and monitor changes per health guidelines.   We also have all of our open-air cars to help relieve some of today's stresses by getting you into the fresh mountain air. In October it is chilly at 10,000 feet so be prepared with blankets and hats.

Our cancelation policy will remain the same with our 15% cancellation fee.

Due to COVID  we are filling up our trips (as they have limited capacity). Therefore we do recommend having reservations for any trip that you want to take to ensure availability.

We will continue to keep our website updated as more information arises, and we will continue to follow CDC, WHO, and state regulations. We thank you for all the support you continue to give and we can't wait to see you this summer!
